The MCSA Group honoured in Excellence in Procurement awards

The MCSA Group have been honoured alongside the Scottish procurement community’s finest at the Government Opportunities (GO) Excellence in Public Procurement Awards Scotland 2015/16, held at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel on 6 October.

Hosted by BiP Solutions Ltd, the GO Awards Scotland celebrate and honour those organisations whose procurement initiatives can truly be described as ‘trailblazing’.

The GO Awards Scotland recognise public sector procurement excellence, and for the past eight years have been the benchmark by which progress in public commissioning has been measured.

Grahame Steed, Managing Editor of GO and Lead Judge, said of the Awards: “This truly was a celebration of Scotland’s Day of Procurement! From a hugely successful Procurex Scotland Live event right through to the stunning finale that is the GO Awards Scotland, this event gets bigger and better every year. Well done to all the winners and highly commended, your success is well deserved!”

This year’s winners included some of the country’s leading procurement innovators, such as Scottish Borders Council and NHS National Services Scotland.

The MCSA Group, this year’s joint Highly Commended recipient of the GO Best Service Award – UK suppliers working with the Scottish public sector (sponsored by Stannah Lift Services Ltd), said of their win:

“This award means a lot to the staff because it reflects the hard work we put in to give customers the best service possible.

“We are an SME operating in a marketplace traditionally dominated by the global giants of the IT industry, so receiving this GO Award shows just how much we have achieved.

“We will share the success of our GO Award by thanking the staff for all their hard work and disseminating the message throughout the business.”
