The MCSA Group was delighted to be made a Finalist in the Best Service category of the National Government Opportunities (GO) Excellence in Public Procurement Awards 2013/14, which were held on 25th April in Manchester this year.
For the past eleven years the National GO Awards have been the benchmark by which progress in this multibillion-pound sector has been measured.
“The National GO Awards are the most prestigious public procurement awards in the UK, and the 2013/14 Awards has seen intense competition across each of the categories. Given this, and an overall increase in the quantity and quality of submissions this year, to be nominated as a GO Awards finalist is a fantastic achievement – one which the organisation involved should be extremely proud of.” – Grahame Steed, Lead Judge, National GO Awards 2013/14.
The MCSA Group has achieved this recognition by delivering 100% SLA performance on all direct calls to the UK’s 7 Research Councils, via the Shared Services Centre (SSC).
99% SLA attainment has been met across the entire contract, exceeding client expectations. On a maintenance contract of this complexity and diversity this is a remarkable achievement which could only have been delivered by a committed, flexible and responsive organisation.
The MCSA Group’s proactive approach and performance has resulted in being ranked as the top SME supplier from a total of 700 IT suppliers to the SSC.
“This is a fantastic recognition of progress and achievement for our procurement activity, especially given the level of competition from across the UK for these Awards. Achieving Finalist status is a great commendation for all involved” – Roger Timms, Managing Director, The MCSA Group
