MCSA supporting cyber security with ISO 27001 accreditation

With regular high profile hacks hitting the news more frequently than we all would like, cyber security is more important than ever. Organisations in today’s digital environment need to do all they can to protect themselves, their data and their customers’ data as effectively as possible, something we take very seriously at MCSA, The Maindec Group.

With this in mind, MCSA are very proud to have attained the ISO 27001 Information Security Standard accreditation. This latest certification builds on our current ISO 9001 Quality Management Standard accreditation, showcasing our ongoing dedication to protecting our own and our clients’ assets.

The ISO 27001 accreditation recognises organisations that identify, analyse and address their information risks. These processes are fine-tuned to keep pace with changes to security threats, vulnerabilities and business impacts. This is an important aspect in a dynamic and ever-changing industry, something MCSA are delighted to be able to accommodate.

In recognition of the achievement, our Managing Director, Paul Timms attended a presentation at the Business Standard Institute’s (BSI) Head Office in Milton Keynes, along with our Technical Director, Facilities Manager and Head of Managed Services & Infrastructure.

Paul Timms commented on the achievement, “This accreditation is very important to MCSA not only towards improving the security of our internal IT infrastructure but for supporting our current and prospective customers with Managed Services, where meeting the requirements of this standard is a prerequisite”.
